Awards: Satisfied customers and employees

Already in 2016, HELLER received multiple awards for its successful collaboration with customers and for long-term personnel development and welfare. Moreover, in the first quarter of 2017 our customers General Motors and John Deere honoured us for outstanding achievements as a supplier and German news magazine FOCUS again named HELLER one of Germany’s “Best Employers”.

John Deere: “Achieving Excellence in Recognition of Partner-level Performance 2016”

On 29 March 2017, HELLER received the Achieving Excellence partner supplier award from John Deere at the annual suppliers’ convention in Zweibrücken for “exceeding performance standards, reaching world-class level and making a measurable contribution to increased customer satisfaction”.

The goal of John Deere’s Achieving Excellence award is to help develop successful business relations based on a continual evaluation process, promoting communication and continuous improvement. The fundamental principles are integration, commitment, trust, cooperation and teamwork.

As part of the Achieving Excellence process, suppliers are evaluated in the categories quality, delivery reliability, technical support, partnership and cost management. “Successful suppliers stand out through their unique performance. These high standards are what distinguishes John Deere and its delivery chain from the competition,” said Pierre Guyot, Vice President, Global Supply Management and Logistics Deere & Company.

General Motors: “Supplier of the Year 2016”

During the 25th annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony held on 31 March 2017 in Orlando/Florida, General Motors named HELLER a GM Supplier of the Year. With this award, GM recognizes its best suppliers from 15 countries that have consistently exceeded GM’s expectations, creating outstanding value or bringing innovations to the company.

“We are focused on building positive supplier relationships, bringing new, customer-centric innovations to GM and being the OEM of choice among suppliers,” said Steve Kiefer, GM vice president, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. “The companies we recognize tonight not only have brought innovation, they delivered it with the quality our customers deserve.”

The winners were chosen by a global team of GM purchasing, engineering, quality, production and logistics executives and are selected based on performance criteria in Product Purchasing, Indirect Purchasing, Customer Care and Aftersales, and Logistics.

Focus: “Best Employer 2017”

For the fifth time already, German news magazine FOCUS conducted a survey among the employees of more than 2,000 companies in recent months, using an online access panel and cooperating with XING and the Kununu rating portal, to find ‘Germany's Best Employers’. The results of the nation-wide survey have now been published in the “Focus Business” special edition.

In the Machinery and Plant Engineering industry ranking, HELLER holds an excellent 2nd place. Taking only medium-sized enterprises or machine tool builders into account, HELLER even takes the top spot. To acknowledge this achievement, the magazine featured a multi-page article portraying the company. Last year, HELLER already took one of the top spots in the Machinery and Plant Engineering industry ranking.

Again, this excellent result is proof that as an internationally operating company we are setting the right priorities with long-term personnel development and welfare. Until today, HELLER is synonymous with attractive employment opportunities and a system of social values, giving equal consideration to business objectives and staff interests, ensuring that both are in balance.
